Our MobileID apps (on iOS and Android) implemented URI scheme, so you can use any (we believe) QR Scanner to install MobileID token.

We tried QR Reader for iPhone and Scan(By QR Code City). It is quite straightforward.

When the user receives the token's data in the form of a QR Code the image should be scanned into the MobileID app on the users's mobile device or computer using the following procedure;


  1. Start the app on the mobile device, then tap on "Menu";



     
  2. A window will open offering you four options, select "Add Token";



     
  3. A window will now open headed "Add Token", tap on "Scan";


  4. The received QR code can now be scanned by facing the camera of the mobile device towards the QR code until you hear it beep.

     

     

  5. Following a successful scan a token will then added to your mobile device or computer.
     

     

  6. If a window headed "Authorization Code" opens, then use the following procedure;   

     
     
  7. You will now be notified that the token has been added to the mobile device with a message such as the following;


     
  8. The token has now been downloaded onto the mobile device or computer.
