Add user's account to the user's DNA app
In order to use the DNA app as a login console, users must first register their DNA apps with their user accounts. In other words, they must add their user accounts into their DNA apps.
To add a new user account into the DNA app, the user needs to obtain a QR code from the DualShield Service Console (DSC)
- Visit the DualShield Service Console, e.g. https://dualshield6.deepnetsecurity.com/dsc
Sign in with your username and password
- Click the Deepnet Authenticator icon
- then click the Register New Device button. A QR code will be displayed
- In the Deepnet Authenticator app, click the main menu icon
- Select "Register New Account "
- Click Scan QR Code, then scan the QR code displayed in the DualShield Service Console
- Click Save
Add user's email account to the user's mobile phone
Select "Add Account "
Select "Microsoft Exchange "
Enter your email address, and description
Click Next
Select "Configure Manually "
Enter your email password
Click Next
If the Grace Period option is enabled in the DeviceID policy, then the user will experience the following

Click "Save "
A push notification message "You have a device activation request" will be received
Pull down the notification screen
Click the notification message "You have a device activation request "
This will bring up the DeepNet Authenticator app
Click Accept
Depending on the logon procedure, the user might or might not be required to authenticate again
Simple confirmation Password authentication
Your email account is now fully activated on this device

The "Password Incorrect" window will pop up on the screen.
In the meantime, a push notification message "You have a device activation request" will also arrive
Press the "Cancel" button to close the "Password Incorrect" window
Pull down the notification screen
Click the notification message "You have a device activation request "
This will bring up the DeepNet Authenticator app
Click Accept
Depending on the logon procedure, the user might or might not be required to authenticate again
Simple confirmation Password authentication
Now, you need to go back to the email account and re-enter your email password
Click "Exchange ..."
Click your email account, e.g. "test2@deepnetid.com "
Remove and re-enter the password
then, click "Done"
Your email account is now fully activated on this device.
