At the installation of the DualShield platform, you need to provide an FQDN for your DualShield platform.

It is very important that you are giving a "correct" FQDN to your DualShield platform. Particularly, the FQDN of a frontend DualShield server cannot be easily changed after the installation. A re-installation might be required if you have to change the FQDN of a frontend DualShield server.

So, what is the correct FQDN should you be giving to your DualShield platform? Generally speaking, it is safe to name your DualShield server in the form of:

   dualshield.your-corporate-domain.com

so that it is unique and immediately accessible in your corporate network by simply adding the hostname "dualshield" to your corporate's DNS server.
