Following are the known issues caused by upgrading DualShield 5 to DualShield 6


Reset Password in the Legacy Self-Service Console

The Reset Password section in the legacy Self-Service Console will cease to be fully funcational after upgrade. This is not really a problem as this section has been obsolete and replaced by the Reset Passsword portal.


Access denied in the legacy Unlock Account portal

If your DualShield system consists of a backend and a frontend server, and you have only upgraded the backend server but not the frontend server, your users will get the error below when they attempt to unlock their accounts from the frontend portal:

To fix this problem without upgrading the frontend, you can update the User role and add the "changeStatus" permission of the user object.
