If the computer is domain-joined and the domain accounts are enabled with MFA at sign in, then the easiest way of enabling MFA on local accounts is to use the so-called account mapping function.
The account mapping function allows users to map their local accounts to their domain account, so that the local accounts can be MFA verified using the domain account's MFA credentials, saving users from setting up separate MFA credentials for local accounts.
