Create a Radius Logon Procedure

  1. Login to the DualShield management consoleAdministration Console
  2. In the main menu, select “Authentication | Logon Procedure”Procedures”
  3. Click the “Create” “+ CREATE” button on the toolbar
  4. Enter a friendly “Name” and select “RADIUS” as the Type

  5. Click “Save”“SAVE” to create.
  6. Click the Context Menu icon context "..." menu of the newly create logon procedurecreated Logon Procedure, select “Logon Steps”
  7. In the popup windows, click the “Create” button on the toolbar
  8. Select the “Static Password” as the authenticator

  9. Click “Save”“SAVE” to update.

Create a RADIUS application

  1. In the main menu, select “Authentication | Applications”
  2. Click the “Create” button on the toolbar
  3. Enter “Name”
  4. Select “Realm”
  5. Select the logon procedure that was just created

     

  6. Click “Save”
  7. Click the context menu of the newly created application, select “Agent”
  8. Select Associate the DualShield Radius server, e.g. "Agent-Radius"

  10. Click the context menu of the newly created application, select “Self Test”

Register the Cisco ASA as a Radius Client

  1. In the main menu, select “RADIUS navigate to “Radius | Radius Clients”
  2. Click the “Register” “+ CREATE” button on the toolbarImage Removed
  3. Edit the Client, with the necessary configuration, associating with the existing Radius Server.
  4. Add the Shared Secret, as used with the Radius Server
