Deepnet GridID is a simple yet effective two-factor OTP authentication method based on security grids. A security grid contains a matrix of numbers and letters in easily marked columns and rows.

Below is a sample GridID card.

These security grids are typically printed on credit card-sized cards that can be easily carried in user's wallets, or they can be printed on the back of employee access badges, credit cards or ATM cards. Security grids can also be delivered to the users in confidential letters, emails or SMS messages.

Deepnet GridID can be used in 3 different ways, namely:

  • Challenge & Response
  • Free Navigation
  • Secret Navigation

Using Deepnet GridID is easy and safe, as demonstrated in the following chapters. Depending on the desired levels of security, Deepnet GridID combines flexibility and security into a simple, user friendly and cost effective solution.
