A spike license is a license with a short lifespan that allows a customer to temporarily increase the number of concurrent licenses in their DualShield server.
Below is an example of a spike license that is valid for 3 months only. Please note that a spike license might also show as a trial license, but that does not affect its use.
If the version of your DualShield server is earlier than 5.9.3, then you should contact the support team at Deepnet Security for advice on how to use and manage a spike license. Otherwise, when the spike license expires your DualShield server may stop functioning.
Apply Spike License to a User Group
You might want to apply a spike license to a user group, so that the license is only avaiable to the users in the group.
