The resource editor is a tool within the management console that allows you to customise prompts and messages that are used by the Authentication Server and can be found by logging in to the management console, then navigating to "Customisation | Resource Editor";

The editor will initially present itself with a large number of customisable resources (text messages) that can be customised (in the above example over 770 pages of customisations, with 10 resources on each page, and each resource has specific language variants.

From the list above I have already customised the first item ("Login Name Format").   Customisation is performed by left clicking on the context menu of the Resource to be edited then selecting "Edit";

A window will now open titled "Edit" that can be used to view and edit customisations for the selected item;

Example: Customising the Username Prompt when logging in to the Management Console:

As an example we will customise the "Username" prompt that is presented when we log in to the Management Console.

We start by selecting the module "SSO" and providing "Username" at the prompt "Free Text", then clicking "SEARCH";

The Resource ID we require for this customisation can be found with the REsourceID of "username.accountName".

Scroll down until this resource is found, left click on the context menu of the resource, then select "Edit";

At the prompt "Customised Value:" provide the customised text that you want displayed during SSO login of the Management Console then click "SAVE";

If you now log in to the management console you will find the prompt is now changed to the requested customised version;

Customisation Removal

Customisations are removed by left clicking on the context menu of the desired customised resource then selecting "Delete";

You will first be asked for confirmation that you want the customisation removed, click "YES" and the process is completed;
