If your DualShield server has been set up to use its internal MySQL database engine, then you can simply follow the instruction in Appendix A.
If your DualShield server has been set up to use an external database server, then you must back up the following two sets of data separately:
1) DualShield Settings Files: You must backup the following files on your DualShield server machine:
- C:\Program Files\Deepnet DualShield\certs\*.*
- C:\Program Files\Deepnet DualShield\config\*.*
- C:\Program Files\Deepnet DualShield\tomcat\conf\server.xml
- C:\Program Files\Deepnet DualShield\tomcat\conf\context.xml
- C:\Program Files\Deepnet DualShield\jre\lib\security\cacerts
2) DualShield Database: You must regularly backup your DualShield database using the backup function provided by your SQL server.
