Adaptive authentication by geographic location means that MFA can be required or exempted depending on the user's geographic location, from an entire country to a city.
A pre-requisite to implementing adaptive authentication by geo location is to have the geo-location data.
Adaptive authentication by geographic location is implemented by using the Location Filter function in the Logon policy. The example below shows that MFA is not required for all locations, except for Russia and North Korea
