Access Control by Device allows you to restrict access to applications by the types or characteristics of user devices. For instance, you might want to block devices running on some outdated operating systems.

Access Control by Device is implemented by creating an "Access Control - Device" policy.

The example below creates an "Access Control - Device" policy that blocks the Microsoft Outlook desktop client from accessing the Exchange emails. 

The example below creates an "Access Control - Device" policy that blocks the Microsoft Outlook mobile App from accessing the Exchange ActiveSync emails.
