A customer contacted us regarding an issue where DualShield kept sending out multiple push notifications for authentication even when the end user had not requested to log on.

This turned out to be an issue triggered by Netmotion, where it kept sending Radius Access requests to DualShield.

The fix for this is as follows

Log into your Netmotion/Absolute server.

Go to Config > Server Settings    Click on Advanced (in blue at the bottom of the screen).   

You will then be prompted as follows.


Type in Code: 1556 and then click on Configure

You will then see an IMP - Incomplete Connection Timeout setting on the right hand side


It defaults to 300,000 milliseconds which is five minutes. 

Set it to 1209600000 which is 14 days, and Apply the setting.
