Zoho Corporation is an Indian multinational technology company that makes business software and web-based business tools. 

Once you have registered your FIDO2 key with Zoho, the key will be ready to be used as an authentication method when accessing your account;

Register your FIDO2 key in your Zoho account

Before you can use your FIDO2 key as an access method for your Zoho account you will need to register the key with Zoho using the following procedure;

  • Log in to your Zoho Account, and use your account dropdown to select "My Account";

    In the accounts column, select the option "Multi-Factor Authentication"";

    A list of available MFA Modes will now show, in the section "Security Key" click "Set up Now";

    The following window will now open, click ;

    As this is a secure operation you will be asked to provide confirmation of your identity, click on "Click here";

    A verification window will then open , enter your account password then click ;

    Insert your Fido key then click ;

    You will now be prompted to specify the device that is to be added as a passkey.

    Select the option "Security key", then click ;

    You are now notified that access to google will be prepared with your Fido2 security key - click  to proceed to the next step;

    You will be asked to touch the button on your key (if your model has a fingerprint reader you may be asked to provide a finger swipe instead);

    You will now be prompted to enter the PIN code for your Fido2 key.

    At the prompt "Security Key PIN", enter the PIN code, then click 

    (in the case of a Fido key with a fingerprint reader you will need to swipe your finger on the key);

    You are now prompted to touch the key (to prove you are present and giving permission for the key to be used).

    Touch the necessary area on your Fido key;

    Once you have touched the Fido2 Key will be added as a passkey authentication method to your Zoho account.

    Click "OK", and you will be asked to provide a name for your security key;

    You will also be offered the opportunity to generate new backup verification codes;

    Click , and you will be presented with 15 codes that can be kept and used as an emergency access method for your account';

    Once the codes have been copied you will be shown confirmation that the Security key authentication method is available for use;

Signing in to a Zoho portals with your FIDO2 key

Once you have registered you FIDO2 key with Zoho the key will be ready to be used as an authentication method when accessing your account;

  • Log in to your Zoho Account, but after supplying your username and password you will be asked to insert your Fido key;

    Insert your key into an available USB port, then at the "Security key PIN" prompt, supply the PIN code for your Fido2 key, then click ;

    You will now be asked to touch the Fido2 key (in the case of a Fido key with a fingerprint reader you will need to swipe your finger on the key);

    Once the key has been touched you will be logged in to your Zoho account.
