Sending out activation codes
Activation codes are usually sent by email or SMS to the end-users, therefore the message gateway needs to be set up

DevicePass Policy
The DevicePass Policy can be set up exactly the same as outline in Policy for Device Onboarding by Admin Approval - DevicePass
The only difference is in the Device Activation Options
Enable Allow Users to Request Activation code
A prompt on the SSO screen will instruct the end-user how to obtain the activation code. In this case, the user only has the option to email. m If SMS is set up in the gateway they will be presented with an option to text. an option to text.
The code will appear in the email.
Enter the code here and click on Activate
