By default, your account is set to Live View Only.

In the Live View Only mode, no data from the external cloud directories, such as Azure AD, will be saved in the local database. 

There are some restrictions when working in the Live View Only mode. For instance, in the local Token Inventory, the console will not be able to indicate whether or not a token is assigned to a user.

You can turn on or off the Live View Only option. It is located in Settings | General
